So, I just found out today that the 12-page paper I thought was due on Tuesday is actually due on Wednesday at 7 p.m. I have about nine pages written, and I am feeling pretty good about it! This is more than I have probably ever had finished this long before the due date, both percentage and page-wise. However, writing those nine pages meant that I didn't do any review for my final on Wednesday at 9 a.m., so this is a problem.
In RP news, I am FINALLY going to go through with that Steve plot I talked about in like October. [Edit: Actually, j/k, I first talked it over with Jane back in April.] I am always such a failure at actually doing plots that I think up, so hopefully this will go as planned. Also, I am feeling kind of "eh" about Heather again, bleargh.
I am also feeling kind of "eh" about Arda over at Steamtrek, but I think that might be partly because the game is so new, and I don't have a solid idea of what he has to say yet. Something about him just feels kind of off and uncomfortable to me, as his player, and I'm not sure what it is.
I really enjoyed researching his history (on Wikipedia), even though actually writing the history section of his application turned out to be more angst and less history than I anticipated or intended. That might be part of why I'm uneasy about him? idk. But I am doing more research into the history and culture of the declining Ottoman Empire, and I am finding out more about him! For example, I discovered the other day that he dresses mainly in the Western style (probably a little showy as well, unexpectedly), and that he is a smoker. That doesn't really help much, but w/e.
Really, I just want to finish ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) raiderof and play her. I kind of wish I had finished her first, since she is infinitely more likable and much easier to plot with. It is such a battle for me not to open her Google Doc and start writing. I SHOULD BE DOING WORK, DAMMIT!

Just so people know, I am escaping the city tomorrow morning until Monday (morning, technically, but I work a night shift that day so I won't be back until late). Going up north to the beautiful wilderness to help my long-absent dad deal with the next stage of his homelessness! While I had internet last time I was up there, I'm not sure my dad kept the Verizon doohickey that made it work, so I may not have access this time.
When I get back, I will probably be half-crazed and climbing up the walls, so expect plenty of those overdue tags from me.

I am slowly getting on top of my to-do list - or not really, but the big work stuff that was hanging over my head is done for now, so here I am... wanting more logs? WHATEVER.
Not really. I don't want this to be a HUGE thing, but I would like to do a series of snapshots of Art and his ninja-mistletoe-kisses. I know Angelica, Ali and Kitty are in his sights, and so I'm hoping to do some quick-and-dirty logs to cover this. And anyone else who wants their character jumped by Art is totally welcome.
... though if other people want mistletoe logs as well, I am totally up for it. Terry, Sarah, Manuel and Myles are all up for grabs, if anyone wants them. I probably won't be able to devote a lot of time to them until Sundayish, but feel free to anyway.
